Understanding batch records

Batch records connect a retail product to an internal product identity. They can support packaging checks, supplier records, documentation, and future COA publication.

The product pages currently display batch references and COA status conservatively. A missing COA is not treated as a testing claim.

As operations mature, batch records can support more detailed documentation without changing the calm retail experience.
